Terms and Conditions

  • Suppliers are expected to comply with all requirements provided through specifications, contracts, and purchase orders.
  • All products and services provided by suppliers are subject to verification and validation prior to acceptance. This includes incoming inspection of dimensions or features deemed critical to function.
  • Suppliers are required to notify Engineering Industries, Inc. in writing of any changes in their processes or product that may affect processes and the products produced. This notification should be provided in writing prior to the change, allowing adequate time to enable Engineering Industries, Inc. to determine if any proposed change will have an effect on the form, fit or function of parts.
  • Requirements for the approved release of products shall be followed where applicable.
  • Engineering Industries, Inc. shall require the appropriate qualifications and certifications for personnel employed by the supplier where these requirements are deemed by Engineering Industries, Inc. to be critical to ensuring conformance.
  • The supplier is expected to provide timely service and communication to Engineering Industries, Inc. The supplier is required to notify Engineering Industries, Inc. in advance of any changes to the agreed-upon delivery date of materials.
  • All suppliers are subject to initial qualification and subsequent monitoring of performance using the following metrics: Quality, On-Time Delivery, Customer Service, Price.
  • If verification or validation by Engineering Industries, Inc. or its customers is required at the supplier’s location, the terms and details will be discussed with the supplier prior to the initial production order. Verification or validation at the supplier’s location related to critical situations that affect Engineering Industries’ ability to meet customer demands will be discussed with the supplier before any verification or validation is performed.
  • Engineering Industries, Inc. complies with all forced labor laws and requires all suppliers to be compliant with any applicable regulations. The supplier is urged to report any instance of non-compliance to Engineering Industries, Inc.
  • When applicable, the contractor and subcontractor shall abide by the requirements of 41 CFR 60-1.4(a), 60-300.5(a), 60-741.5(a) and Appendix A of Subpart A of 29 CFR 471. These regulations require that covered prime contractors and subcontractors take affirmative action to employ, advance and prohibit discrimination against qualified individuals based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity or their status as protected veterans or individuals with disabilities.
