ABOUT US
Located in south central Wisconsin, Engineering Industries is a custom
injection molder of thermoplastic components. Incorporated in 1963 by
founder Ron Daggett, the company began as a small molder with a strong
emphasis on providing engineering assistance to its customers. As a professor
at the University of Wisconsin, Ron was involved in many development projects
involving plastics. Early work at Engineering Industries included major
assistance in the development of one of the first artificial heart valves for
human use and significant work in incorporating plastic components in the
production of batteries.
Today, Engineering Industries continues to put great emphasis on providing
engineering assistance to our customers as a part of the process to develop
high quality injection molded plastic components. From the earliest stages
of development through product testing and into production, our team of
five degreed engineers provides our customers with technical assistance to
optimize the product design and reduce product costs.
Engineering Industries produces custom injection molded parts for a wide
range of industries including medical equipment, power hand tools, home
appliances, and many others that have a need for close-tolerance parts molded
with thermoplastic resins. (see
capabilities) Our production equipment reflects our philosophy of
manufacturing high quality products by taking full advantage of current
technology while continually looking for more efficient methods of
manufacturing.
